Picture of the pub frontage The HorseShoe Inn, Uckington is situated along the B5061 just six miles south of Shrewsbury and six miles west of Telford, and has views of the Wrekin. Attingham Park (National Trust site) and the Roman City of Wroxeter (English Heritage site) are also very nearby.

Daron and Dawn bought the HorseShoe Inn in 2007 and have transformed a previously rundown and shabby hostelry to a smart, stylish and welcoming pub, while still retaining all it’s traditional features and charm. Ideally suited for a business meeting place, dinner á deux, or a group or family party, the HorseShoe Inn has the seating and ambience to suit all. With attentive and knowledgeable staff on hand to offer a full table service throughout your visit.

The main bar area has a large inglenook fireplace which is kept well ablaze during the cold winter months, and oak flooring. Several separate seating areas with leather sofas to sink into offer cosy areas for those wanting a more intimate setting.

View into one dining area There are several dining areas offering a spacious or intimate dining experience as required, and two outside beer gardens for when the sun is shining. There is also a meeting room available.

Food at the HorseShoe Inn is freshly prepared to order and the menus, which are put together by our Head Chef, give an excellent choice for all tastes. In addition there are themed nights throughout the week when particular meals are featured. Find out more...

Local produce, sourced in Shropshire and surrounding areas, is used wherever possible and menus are changed to reflect the seasons. The main menu consists of a range of signature dishes which are complimented by a Special’s board.
